Digirig cable for Yaesu FTM series transceivers using proprietary 10 pin MiniDin connector.

• cable allows digital modes and packet radio protocols such as VaraFM, VarAC, SSTV, APRS, Winlink, Echolink, Allstar etc.
• great for working satellites (e.g. APRS and SSTV)
• data cable combines audio and PTT control, plugs into Digirig’s audio socket (black jack) – works with all Digirig models
• 9600 baud audio cable variant additionally enables serial features of the transceiver (green jack) – this requires Digirig Mobile in RS-232 configuration

Choosing Cable Variant

• If you plan on using a digital mode requiring wide FM bandwidth such as VaraFM or M17 then you’ll need 9600 baud variant of this cable. Same cable also supports all standard (1200 baud audio) modes. The audio/PTT functionality works with all Digirig interface models.
• If you plan on utilizing radio’s serial connectivity such as memory programming, GPS signal output, internal TNC output, serial CAT control then you’ll need variant of the cable with serial lines (9600 baud). Refer to your transceiver’s manual for the information on the supported serial features. The use of serial connection requires Digirig Mobile in RS-232 configuration.
• If neither of the above requirements apply then you can use lower cost 1200 baud/PTT cable which works with any Digirig interface.
