Digirig Mobile Rev 1.6+ 9600-baud Audio, PTT and serial cable for Yaesu FTM transceivers using proprietary 10 pin MiniDin connector.

• data cable allows wide bandwidth (9600 baud) and standard bandwidth (1200 baud over 9600 baud path) digital modes and packet radio protocols such as VaraFM, VarAC, M17, SSTV, APRS, Winlink, Echolink, Allstar etc.
• great for working satellites (e.g. APRS and SSTV)
• cable supports 9600-baud rate audio and hardware PTT – black connector plugs into Digirig’s audio socket
• cable supports serial programming and/or CAT control where available – green connector plugs into Digirig’s serial socket

The audio cable requires Digirig Mobile Revision 1.6 or later (RS-232 configuration).

Changing packet data bandwidth from narrow 1200 baud to wide 9600 baud:

• Rotate the FUNC knob to select [71 DATA SPEED] then press the FUNC knob.
• Rotate the FUNC knob to select [DATA] then press the FUNC knob.
• Rotate the FUNC knob to select the packet communication speed. Factory default value: 1200bps. To use this cable select “9600 bps” then press the FUNC knob.
• Press the [BACK] key twice.

Selecting serial port speed:

• Press and hold the FUNC knob [69 COM PORT] Press the FUNC knob.
• Rotate the FUNC knob to select [SPEED] then press the FUNC knob.
• Rotate the FUNC knob to select the desired communication speed then press the FUNC knob. The setting changes in the following order: 4800bps -> 9600bps -> 19200bps -> 38400bps  -> 57600bps Factory default value: 9600bps
• Press the FUNC knob.
